~*~ Friends ~*~

I dont know what I would if I didnt have as many supportive friends that I do. Each and every day that I need someone, I have someone to turn to. Not once have they turned there backs on me, not once have they used me for anything! I am so greatful to have the friends that I do.

I, on the other hand, will do everythign in my power to help them out when I can. I babysit their children when I can. Just talking over the phone can go along way. I may live 3-4 hours from these friends BUT that doesnt mean I cant go visit on occasions and call all the time. ( I got free LD )

If only we ALL had good friends like the ones I have, what a better place the world would be. I am so thankful for the wonderful friends that I have :)

How hard??

How hard is it for a "dad" to see his child child when they live in the same county?? How hard is it to even "acknowledge" the child when you run into them at the store?

My son has not seen his "dad" for over 3 years now. The other 2 years, he seen him twice! What gets me is this, he tells the judge he is doing everything in his power to see his son YET, he has not even made the first supervised visit that he was granted!! He also told the judge he wanted to help provide for his son. He is OVER $600 behind! He made his first payment this month! ( Jan 08 ) Also, we live in the SAME county, so we shop at the SAME stores! My son and I ran into some of his "dads" side of the family. They didnt so even come to say Hi or anything. They just looked and kept on walking! What asses they are and what LIES hes told the judge.

My husband and I are in the working process of him adopting my son but still, I am so irratated on how someone can do there child like my sons dad is doing him!! I try to overlook this but its so hard.

It has taken me almost 4 years to actually accept ME for ME! What I mean by that is this, I would always wish I was like someone else. For instance, I always wanted the money to go and blow like my friends did. I always wanted to be able to run just like my friends did. I never thought about what I WANTED, it was always what someone else wanted me to do.

Here I am, glad to be me. I have a wonderful husband and two wonderful kids. I work from home for free! I even have a "job" away from the computer and that is making hairbows! Ive always wanted to make hairbows and finally get to do it.

I have the money to go and get what my family and I needs. We go out and do things together. We are not rich but we arent poor either. We are an average family. My family has name brand items ( thanks to my online sites ) and we do still shop at wal mart and kmarts and so on. We have what we need and get what we want every now and then :)

I have a wonderful extended family. I absolutely adore my mother in law and father in law. They do anything and everything in the world for my husband and the family. Not a day goes by without them calling and checking on us to see if we are ok or need something. My mother is wonderful too. She calls and checks on us also. She lives 4 hours away so its hard for her to just jump in the car and come over whenever she wants to. She still does her best though :)

Anyways, I have accepted me and loving it all the way :) I am working on my losing weight too :)

I am so Blessed

Ever since I was a young child, my mom had always moved us around from place to place, state to state. We never really stayed in one place very long until we moved to Kentucky in 1996. That meant we had to switch schools. My brother, sister and I took a tour of our new school. We really dreaded the school but once the counselor told us that we wouldnt have to start until the next week. We was so excited. The counselor then preceded to tell us that its Kentucky law for ALL kids to get a thourough physical that moved here from another state. I, once again, dreaded going through all this just to go to school. We was updated on everything possible and yes we had a doctor and went when we needed to, so in my mind I thought it was all not worth it!
Well, we went and had our physicals and such. My brothers come back fine. My sisters come back fine. My come back saying that I had a really bad UTI infection. Who would have ever thought I had that! I wasnt feeling any of the symptoms! I went to the doctor and had some more tests done. They came back bad. I was immediately put on some medication. I had to take the medicine with 7up and cranberry juice. I was not to miss a dose and I was to take it every 4 hours for 7 days. I did everything I did. The medicine was supposably a high enough amount to really get the UTI to go away.
I went back to the doctor and had the tests done again. It come back that I still had UTI! I was once again put on some medicine. This time around I just had to take the medicine and not the 7up and cranberry mix. I took it for a week. Went back to the doctor. The UTI wasnt cleared up all the way but it was slowly. I was put on something else. I then went back again and had the test done. Everything was cleared up BUT he preceded to tell me that my levels was so messed up that I would NEVER start my period nor could I ever have kids. ( At this time, I was only 15 and having kids wasnt even on my mind!) The doctor having said that, I left and never thought seriously about what he had told me. I went about going to school and doing what I did on a daily basis.
Two months after turning 17, I started my period! I freaked out and cried hystericaly. I was in so much pain it wasnt funny. I went to the doctor and got checked. He said everything was fine. I went home thinking how the doctor had lied to me about not ever having a period then I wondered if I could ever have kids when the time was right.
Four months after turning 19, I found out I was pregnant. I had mixed emotions. I didnt know to be happy or scared. ( I was mentally and emotionally abused by the soon to be father ) I went straight to a nurse midwife and let her examine me. She said I was fine. From there on out, I saw her at every one of my monthly check ups. She was super good in handling my needs. When it was time for my son to be born, this nurse midwife came in on her day off to deliver my son. ( She was so awesome. I love her to death!) ( There is so much more on how the father had treated me before, during and after my pregnancy but hes not worth talking about so I'll leave it at that. Just know that my son was born healthy and still is healthy to this day!)
Fast forward 4 years and here I am with my daughter. She is 5 months old and very healthy. She was born August 31, 2007. My doctor that delivered her refused to let me have any pain medicine so needless to say, she was born completely natural!! If I was ever to have another one, I will go completely natural again!!

The moral of this post is this: I was told that I could never have children and here I am today, blessed with two healthy children!! I love them both to death and will do anything and everything for them :)

Hairbows

My friend, Laura, gave me her book of nice instructions on how to make those nice fancy bows, yesterday!! I am so eager to get started on making them. I just hope they all turn out as well. Once I get the hang of them, I will start selling them. A flea booth or something would be nice. Im even getting my sister and mother in doing this as well. We will see if they stick to it!
